We had a very comfortable stay and enjoyed it very much. We were very impressed with the standard and quality of our room The food at breakfast was excellent and the advice regarding walks most appreciated. A belated thank you Martin and Gilly for looking after Richard and I and my mum so well in September. We had a wonderful time in Keswick. Glendale was a real delight and we really enjoyed staying there. We will definitely be back! |

We came in May and again in November. It's a beautifully furnished, comy and cosy house, with good hosts in Martin and Gilly. |

Just back home after 7 weeks away. We loved our one week stay at Glendale in September and touring about the beautiful Lake District.Many thanks to great hosts Martin and Gilly,who my wife thinks makes the best porridge she's ever had!The accomodation and breakfasts were first class and combined with the great location which meant the town centre was only a few minutes walk away. Martin was able to point us in the right direction to the many great walks in the area and, as a good host should, hardly even mentioned the ashes result once. Would love to return to this great part of the UK again. |
