The Lakeshore of Derwent Water is just ten minutes walk from Glendale Guest House. The Theatre By The Lake, Keswick Launch and many gentle walks are on offer at the lake side.The launch can be used to reach areas of Borrowdale and Newlands valley to start and finish your walks.

Keswick is easily accessed by train with the nearest Rail Station being Penrith. Approx 17 miles. Trainline.com

A good Bus service runs around the Lake District and connects Keswick with Penrith. X4/X5 Penrith to Keswick.
